Overview

A demo film created prior to the main production for the large LED and curved LED installations inside a department store in Qatar. Centered around the Arabian oryx, a national symbol of Qatar, the content was designed to reflect the tone and manner of the department store through a refined visual narrative.

For another large front-facing display within the same space, a separate demo was developed using an optical illusion effect that made the wall appear to recede inward. As the building had not yet been completed, both demo videos were produced to evaluate the practicality of each display and support on site validation.

AI Tools Used in the Making of Demo Film

Approach

The content was developed as a previsualization tool to test how each display could function within the actual space before completion. Different visual directions were applied according to the characteristics of each screen, with the curved LED focusing on branded storytelling through the Arabian oryx motif, while the front display emphasized spatial depth and immersive illusion. The project was created to verify usability, visual impact, and installation effectiveness across multiple media surfaces before moving into final production.
