Overview
An emotional wedding film created to preserve the memories my wife and I built from our dating days through marriage, highlighting unforgettable moments from our first meeting to the wedding vows.
What is Baby Sun
Told from my perspective when I first saw my wife as playful and childlike, the video stitches together key episodes from our journey, transforming them into a story that was shared with wedding guests during the reception.
Stylized Character
I reimagined myself as a stylized character with broad shoulders and relatively slim legs, while my wife was portrayed in two versions: as an adult and as a childlike figure, capturing the duality of our relationship by also evoking the imagery of babysitting.

Memories
Certain memories remain vivid, like single frames from a film. The most striking ones were depicted with my wife as a mischievous child and myself as her caretaker, illustrating both the joy of our shared journey and the challenges reminiscent of raising a child.

Approach
Because the wedding hall’s screen was a 4:1 panoramic ratio, the central visuals were placed in the middle with minimal scene transitions. The video was composed with calm, lyrical cuts resembling static frames from classic animation. To achieve a 2D aesthetic, toon shading with Octane Render was used, and AI-generated background elements were composited into the final film within the pipeline.
